Sketching with Freehand Gestures

You can use your pointer device (such as stylus, finger, or mouse) to sketch with freehand gestures.

You activate Gesture mode to sketch by freehand dragging.


Before you begin: If a sketch is not active, open a new or existing sketch.
  1. From the Sketch section of the action bar, click Gesture .

  2. If you are using a touch device, click Lock View on the Sketch bar to prevent the view from rotating as you drag.
  3. Drag your pointer device to create a primitive curve.
  4. Create additional curves as needed.
  5. To exit Gesture mode, click Gesture again, select another command, or press Esc.
