You can use the Undercut Analysis tool to view the undercuts including occluded
undercut. Evaluating where molded parts face resistance separating from molds.
Before you begin: You need to create a new object or open an existing object to perform an undercut analysis
on it.
From the Tools section of the action bar, click Undercut
Analysis
to open the undercut analysis tool.
You can click Edit Undercut Analysis
to open the Undercut Analysis dialog box and edit the
parameters.
In the work area, select a plane on an object to define a
direction of pulling.
To Flip direction, click . Alternatively, you can click the arrow in the work area.

To change the colors that are displayed in the undercut analysis result:
In the Undercut Analysis dialog box, click an
undercut cut color.
Drag the slider to select a color.
Drag the circular handle to choose the shade for the selected color.
The undercut results are illustrated by the following default colors in the
work area.
Positive side undercut - Light
Blue
Displays positive side undercut faces.
Straddle faces - Blue
Displays straddle faces.
Negative side under Navy Blue
Displays negative side undercut faces.
Occluded undercut - Red
Displays occluded faces
Alternatively, enter the decimal or hexadecimal value of a color.
Tip:
If you have a specific color to use, enter the color value in
the field.
Note:
Any colors that you assigned continue to be used next time
Undercut Analysis is opened.

action bar, click Undercut
