You can specify the pulling direction, that is, the mold opening direction, for the
core and cavity of molds. You can use draft analysis to visualize the effect of the pulling
direction from different angles.
Before you begin:
Open the part in xMold.
From the Tools section of the action bar, run a
Draft Analysis on the part.
Make sure that the analysis is ok, else make the required changes in the part
design.
From the Mold Features section of the action bar, click
Pulling Direction
.
In the dialogue box, select a plane or profile for the pulling direction from the
work area.
Optional: To reverse the direction of the pull, click Flip
Direction
.
This reverses the core and cavity side.

Optional:
Use Draft analysis to define the angle for the pulling direction
and see the types of drafts.
Optional:
You can choose the colors for the drafts from the color palette. Double-click the draft
color to open the color palette.
