Colors

Click one of the following from the action bar
or context toolbar.
- From the Tools section of the action bar, click Color .
- Click one or more faces in the work area, and select Color from the context toolbar.
- Click an ordered geometrical set in the tree, and select Color from the context toolbar.
The Color dialog box opens. The Current Color square in the lower-right corner of the Color dialog box displays the color of the select object. When selected objects are colored differently, a multicolored square displays. -
From the Selection Types menu, select one of the
following.
- Faces - Select individual faces in the work area.
- Sets - Select an ordered geometric set in the work area.
- In the section box, select the Faces or Sets in the work area.

Click the Current Color square in the lower-right corner of
the Color dialog box.
The Color Chooser opens.

In the Color Chooser, do one of the following.
- Click a predefined color shown in the lower part of the dialog box.

- Drag the arrow next to the color bar to the approximate color hue and drag the circular handle within the color field to select the color shade.
- Type in a hex code in the text field #. For more information, see Work with Color Hex Codes.
When you select a new color, the top half of the square in the upper-right corner of the Color Chooser changes to the new color while the bottom half still shows the reference (original) color. When selected objects are colored differently, a multicolored square displays. - Click a predefined color shown in the lower part of the dialog box.
- Optional: To restore the reference (original) color, double-click the bottom half-square in the upper-right corner of the Color Chooser.
- Optional: To remove the color from the selected objects, click Remove .

Do one of the following:
- Click Apply and Continue.
The colors are applied to the Faces or Sets in the work area. You are returned to the previous Color dialog box to apply colors to other objects.
- Click Color Chooser to return to the previous Color dialog box without changes.
- Click .
The colors are applied to the Faces or Sets in the work area and the Color dialog box closes.
Note: Click when finished in either dialog box and the Color dialog box closes. - Click Apply and Continue.
