Dialog Boxes

You can use dialog boxes to set properties and parameters for many commands.

Dialog boxes appear in the work area when you start many commands. For example, if you click Thread from the Feature section of the action bar, the Thread dialog box opens.

Some dialog boxes show a subset of options until you expand the dialog box to show more options. For example, if you click Chamfer from the Feature section of the action bar, the Chamfer dialog box opens.

The arrow in the dialog box indicates that more options are available. If you click the arrow , the expanded Chamfer dialog box opens. In the expanded dialog box, if you click the arrow , the dialog box reverts to its contracted form.

Note: Dialog box options are dependant on the selected geometry.

Dialog Box Contracted Dialog Box Expanded

In some cases, when you select an option in the expanded form of a dialog box, it moves to the contracted form.
