Using the Community Panel

In the Community panel, you can search for content, create blog posts, share media, ask and answer iQuestions, and contribute to wikis.

Search for Content in a Community

  1. Click an area:
    • Recent
    • Blog
    • Media
    • iQuestions
    • Wiki
  2. In the Search box, type the search text and press Enter or click Search .

Create a Blog Post

  1. Click Blog.
  2. Click Create a Blog Post .
    Note: You must have Author access to the community to create a blog post.
  3. Type a title, content, add formatting as necessary, select a category, and then click Publish.
Note: To respond to a blog post, select the post to open it, and then click Comment.

Ask an iQuestion

  1. Click iQuestions.
  2. Click Ask an iQuestion .
    Note: If the community owner has not granted permissions for users to enter iQuestions, this button does not appear.
  3. Type a title, content, add formatting as necessary, and then click Publish.
Note: To respond to an iQuestion, select the iQuestion to open it, and then click Answer.

Access Media

  1. Click Media.

The media content is derived from the attachments included with blog posts and iQuestions.

Note: To respond to a media item, select the media item to open it, and then click Comment.

Access a Wiki

  1. Click Wiki.

In the Community panel, Wiki displays a list of the topics. When you click a topic, the Wiki opens in a browser and displays its content.

Note: To respond to a Wiki item, open the item in a browser, and then click Comment at the end of the item.
