Assigning Keyboard Shortcuts

You can specify custom keyboard shortcuts for commands.

  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Configure .
  2. Click Keyboard.
  3. Select the command:
    • To filter the command list by action bar section, for Command Category, select an action bar section name.
    • To search for the command by name, for Search, type the part or all of the command name and press Enter.
  4. Locate the row for the command, and click the Shortcut cell.
  5. Type the key combination for the shortcut. For example, to use P as a shortcut for sketch polygon, press Shift + p as the shortcut in Sketch Polygon.

    Note: A warning displays if a shortcut is used by another command.

    To restore the system defaults for shortcuts, click Reset to Defaults .
