Working with 3DSpace

You can use 3DSpace to share content between a group of users or for organizational projects. 3DSpace lets you create and manage collaborative spaces that are dedicated to content storage and collaboration on content.

For more information about 3DSpace, see http://help.3ds.com| Social and Collaborative | Enterprise Modeling and Execution | 3DSpace.

Before you begin: Ensure you have access to collaborative spaces in 3DSpace. See http://help.3ds.com | Social and Collaborative | Structured Collaboration & Collaborative Content | 3DSpace | Managing Access.
  1. From the Compass open 3DSpace.
  2. Open a collaborative space and select a content.
  3. From the Compass, click the dashboard app you want to work on.
The selected content from 3DSpace opens in the app.
Note: The 3DSpace content opens in your app only if the app supports the content type.

You can also open 3DSpace content directly from your dashboard app. You can either drag and drop the content from 3DSpace to your app or open it using the Open command in the landing page or Essential section.

  4. Edit the content and save it.
The content is automatically saved to the 3DSpace.
