Adding a Project to DesignSync

This topic discusses adding a project on your local system to source control.


Before you begin:
  • Eclipse must be running.
  • The project being added to source control must be in your active workspace.
  • The DesignSync server must be running.

  1. Select the project, open the context menu, and select the Team | Share Project... option.
    This launches the Share Project wizard.
  2. Select DesignSync and click the Next> button.
    This brings you to the Select Revision Control Type dialog.
  3. Select the type of Project you want to create in the Revision Control Type dialog. For more information on specific options, see Select Revision Control Type.
    This launches the Specify Server Details dialog.
  4. Complete the options on the Specify Server Details dialog. For information on specific options see the Specify Server Details page. Then select Next>.
    This launches the Summary Informationdialog.
  5. Review the options you've selected on the Summary Information dialog and confirm them by pressing Finish.
    DesignSync console view shows the results of the executed commands.

The project files are now managed in DesignSync.
