The Attributes tab comprises several functions described hereinafter.

In case a technological type comprises a subtype, this particular subtype inherits from all the attributes of its parent technological type. The situation is the same if a subtype comprises other subtypes and so on.

The Attributes tab includes several frames:

  • The Inherited attributes frame includes all the attributes that are automatically inherited from all its parent technological types.
  • The Local attributes frame includes the attributes of the currently selected technological type.
  • The Attribute value frame allows valuating local attributes or inherited attributes.

It is possible to overload an inherited attribute by modifying its value. In doing so, the inherited attribute is modified at its level but it does not affect the parent type value. In the Inherited attributes frame, the Overloaded column indicates NO when an inherited attribute is not modified and YES when the value of the inherited technological type has been modified.

Note: In the Attribute value frame, the Delete command allows you to delete the selected local attribute. Still in the same frame, Reset allows resetting the value of an inherited attribute that has been overloaded.

Note: Inherited attributes cannot be deleted.
