Performing Quick Analyses

You can perform quick analyses from the Quick View section of the action bar.

Notes:
  • Access to Die Face Design is required.
  • Cut Immersion Depth analyses are not available.
  • Quick Analyses support conceptual processes, not detailed processes.

This task shows you how to:

Set Global Parameters

You can configure the global parameters of the instant analyses.

Select a Process Method Plan.
  1. Open the dialog box of an analysis and edit the values.

    • Draft Analysis.
    • Depth Analysis.
    • Cut Normal Analysis
    • Cut Shear Angle Analysis
    • 2D Cut Analysis
    • 3D Cut Analysis
    • Insertion Depth Analysis
    • Circle Analysis.
    • Pierce Analysis.
Note: Circle Analysis and Pierce Analysis are initialized with the value of the DieFaceDesign standard.

  • The global parameters are directly created under the Process Method Plan under the DFD process Body.
  • Relations are created between the global and local parameters of each analysis created in the process.
  • The result of the cut analysis is available in Vectors and Acute/Obtuse modes outside the command.

Perform a Quick Analysis

You can quickly start individual analyses on all visible elements of the selected Process Method Plan.

Select the required analysis from the Quick View section of the action bar.

Notes:
  • Quick Cut Normals Analysis, Quick Cut 2D Analysis, Quick Cut 3D Analysis use
    • The required input surface of the trim partition for trim partition elements.
    • The step geometry for process wireframes.
  • Quick Display Press Table, Quick Display Stamp Partition, Quick Display Cut Partition, Quick Display Process retrieve the analysis direction from the process definition.
