Use Fillet Search to detect fillets on a surface, with variable fillets on top of constant fillets.

  1. Select the Stamping Drection.
  2. Select the shape to analyze.
  3. Select a Convexity Analysis option.
  4. Click Apply.
    Fillet Search
    • Computes the fillets detected on the surface.
    • Displays the results as a list, with for each fillet
      • Its name.
      • The values of the minimum and maximum radius.
  5. Optional: Expand Radius Ranges to sort the results in Geometrical Sets, using ranges of radii.
    1. Click Create Range Set.
    2. Optional: Select a line and edit the minimum and the maximum radius of the Range Set.
    3. Repeat as necessary.
  6. Back in the main dialog box, click OK.

Fillets are created.

  • A Geometrical Set is created in the tree.
  • It contains a Fillet Search feature, and the fillets sorted by type.

Each fillet is stored with its radius values.

  • If you had defined Range Sets, fillets are sorted accordingly by range them by type.

Fillets that do not belong to a specified range are added to the other sets.
