Supported Version and Format

From ReqIF 1.0 to ReqIF 1.2:

  • .ReqIF
  • .ReqIFz

Maximum size: 5000 requirements.

Extracted Elements

  • SPECIFICATION
  • SPEC-OBJECT
  • SPEC-HIERARCHY
  • SPEC-RELATION
  • ATTRIBUTE-VALUE (plain text and rich text attributes are supported)
    Tip: You can select any element to display its attributes and relations.

Select the Traceability node to display:
  • For Reqtify and Systems Traceability Dashboarding ReqIF: the extracted traceability
  • For other ReqIF: a computed view of extracted traceability
Work Area
ReqIF objects are displayed in a table, with a flat hierarchy. Each row displays a SPEC-OBJECT with its attributes.
DOORS ReqIF
  • From the navigation bar, you can switch between the following views:
    Views Description
    Public DOORS views The views that are exported from DOORS.
    Note: In these views, the Object Heading and Object Text column is computed, and not retrieved. It might slightly differ from the DOORS view.
    Main view Elements with all attributes and without filtering
  • These commands are available:
    Commands Description
    Apply Filter Displays view with the filter defined in DOORS (if any).
    Notes:
    • The ReqIF file contains only those filters that are created in DOORS in the Attributes tab.
    • The ReqIF file does not contain any filter created in the Links, Objects, and Columns tabs.
    Show Deleted Objects Displays objects that are seen as deleted in DOORS
Reqtify or Systems Traceability Dashboarding ReqIF
From the navigation bar, you can switch between the following views:
Views Description
Textual Identifiers, labels, and text
Main view Elements with all attributes
