Customizing Preferences

You can customize preferences for your session in Systems Traceability Dashboarding.

Important: Administrators can customize preferences for the whole database. For more information, see Customizing Administrator Preferences.

  1. On the top-right of the widget, click Menu > Preferences .
  2. Select the display options you want to customize.

    Option Description
    Show main tree

    In the tree area, displays the accessible objects in their category, along with their structure and content.

    By default, this check box is selected.
    Enable multiple contexts

    Enables adding several elements as context. The active context element is always displayed on the right, in the navigation bar.

    By default, this check box is cleared.
    Main tree root

    In the list, select one of these elements to be displayed as root in the main tree:

    • Repositories: to display one or several repositories (3DEXPERIENCE, DOORS…)
    • Content of SelectedObjectName (current selection): to display the children of the selected object.

    By default, Repositories is selected.
    Selected resource when loading this app

    In the list, choose an element type to be selected when loading this app:

    • Latest navigated resource
    • SelectedObjectName (current selection)

    By default, Latest navigated resource is selected.
    Style In the list, choose a display for the widget:
    • Default
    • Compact:
      • Minimized space between elements (nodes in the tree, boxes in dialog boxes, commands in the menu...)
      • Smaller font
