Defined by Type

The Defined by Type B.I. reveals information about the type assigned to an object and its status.

Color Code

When the Defined by Type B.I. is selected, the following colors are applied to the objects in the tree and in the 3D area:

Color Signification Description
Synchronized with latest revision The object is typed and synchronized with the latest revision of the object type.
Untypable The object cannot be defined by a type. The BIM Attributes panel does not propose to type such objects (for example buildings).
Untyped The object can be assigned a type but is not assigned a type. The BIM Attributes panel can be used to assign a type to the object.
Not synchronized with latest revision The object is typed but not synchronized with the latest revision of the object type. To fix such an issue, select the object and click the hyperlink latest: revision: XXX in the label that is displayed.
Type not found in databaseThe object is typed but refers to an object type that is not found in the database. click BIM Attributes to display the BIM Attributes panel to set the object to undefined or select a new type. You can also ask the BIM manager to populate the database with the missing object type.

Label

When the Defined by Type B.I. is selected and you select an object in the 3D area, a label is displayed that contains detailed information.
