Inserting Break Lines

You can sculpt a terrain by inserting break lines—polylines composed of points measured on the site.


Before you begin: A terrain mesh must be open.

About Terrain Preparation
  1. From the Prepare section of the action bar, click Insert Break Lines .
  2. Select a terrain mesh where the break lines should be inserted.
  3. Select a polyline or several polyline elements made of the points measured on the site.
  4. Click to show or hide the selection.
  5. Click Apply to display and compute the break lines.
    The break lines are computed and displayed in the 3D area.
  6. Click OK.

The terrain is deformed to fit perfectly the input break lines.
