Assigning Bookmarks to Altium Designer Objects

You can assign bookmarks to objects from the Save dialog box.

  1. Log on to 3DEXPERIENCE and open Altium Designer.
  2. Right-click PCB Project, list of option appears.
  3. Click 3DEXPERIENCE>Save.
  4. In the Save Project to 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box, select required objects and click Save with Bookmark . Bookmarks dialog box opens.
  5. From the left frame of Bookmarks dialog box, select a bookmark
    • Click Apply to Selected to apply the bookmark to the selected objects in the Save Project to 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box.
    • Click Apply to All to assign the bookmark to all the objects in the Save Project to 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box.
      Note: Apply to Selected and Apply to All options are available to select only when you select bookmark from the available bookmarks in left pane of the Bookmark Editor app. The selected bookmark name appears in the bookmark column in the Save Project to 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box.
  6. Click Save.
    Notes:
    • Only one bookmark can be assigned during each Save operation. If you want to apply multiple bookmarks, you have to perform the Save operation each time.
    • Only one bookmark appears in Bookmarks column for each object. Hover over the bookmark name to see the other assigned bookmarks. A multiline tooltip shows all the bookmark applied to respective object, the most recent bookmark appears in bold style.
    • The Save Project to 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box displays the bookmark information computed when the panel is built.
    • You cannot assign Bookmark to a Physical Product.
