Placing a Schematic in an Open Schematic

You can search and place a schematic from 3DEXPERIENCE in a schematic that is open in Altium Designer.

Before you begin: A schematic must be open in Altium Designer.
  1. In the open schematic, right-click and select 3DEXPERIENCE > Place Schematic.
    The 3DSearch dialog box opens.
  2. In 3DSearch, enter keywords to search for the schematic that you want to place in the open schematic.
  3. From the search results, select the required schematic and click OK.

    Note: When you select CAD object from 3DEXPERIENCE, it overwrites the already existing CAD object.

The schematic gets placed in the open schematic in Altium designer.
