Changing Maturity

You can change the maturity state of an object as it evolves throughout its lifecycle.


Before you begin: Open the Electronic Component Editor dialog box.
  1. Select a structure or a component and click Change Maturity.
    The Maturity State dialog box lists the components in the selected structure or the component and its children.
  2. In the Maturity State dialog box, select a new maturity state from the Change maturity to list.

    Note: An icon indicates if the maturity change can be applied to the object.
    • Maturity applicable.
    • Maturity not applicable.

    The chosen maturity state is applied to the parent object and all its children.

  3. Click OK to apply the selected maturity state to the listed objects.

The chosen maturity state is applied to the parent product and all its children.
