Locking and Unlocking

You can lock objects to avoid concurrent changes by multiple users. A locked object indicates that it is in work and an unlocked object indicates that it is available for modification.

Before you begin: Ensure that you are connected to 3DEXPERIENCE platform and a project is open in the Cadence Allegro Enterprise PCB Designer Suite.
  1. Click Tools > 3DEXPERIENCE and select Lock Status.
    The Lock Status dialog box containing the complete design structure appears. You can see the reservation status in the Lock Status column.
  2. Right-click the object you want to lock or unlock and select Lock or Unlock as required. You can select multiple objects.
    Lock status is updated in the Lock Status column.
