Units Page

The Units page lists builds and lots allocated at the model level. Product Managers can track and define all product builds across all revisions and versions. The Actions menu on the page toolbar contains commands to create, allocate, and move builds, assign builds to customers, and generate model level allocation reports.

  1. Access the Properties page for a model. For details, see Model Properties Page.
  2. Click the Units category.

Columns

Column Description
NameName of the build. This column contains highlighted links. Click any name to go to the Properties page of that build.
Type The build type or subtype
State The current state of the build in its lifecycle
OwnerPerson who is currently assigned responsibility for the build
Status Shows whether the build is allocated or unallocated
Build Serial NumberThe assigned serial number for the build
Build Unit NumberThe last unit number generated under the context model for that product
Shorthand Notation The shorthand notation used for the build, for example: A1, A2, A3. When a build is created in the context of a product, the product’s shorthand notation is automatically assigned to the build.
Description Details about the build
Build Disposition Current status or disposition of the build. Possible values are:
  • Production
  • Shipped
  • Service
  • Inventory
  • N/A
  • Blank
Planned Build Date The date when the build is planned to be built.
Actual Build Date The date on which the build is actually built
Date Shipped The date the build is shipped
