Audio lets you annotate your documents by adding audio markers.
You can either record an audio, or import files from the standard library or from your
computer.
Before you begin: Connect a microphone.
Select an object in the 3D area to which
you want to link the marker.
Notes:
You can select multiple objects before clicking the command to link the marker to all the preselected objects. The marker is created with multiple leaders.
After clicking the command, you can click in the 3D area to create the marker without any link to any object.
Select an import type.
Import Document as Link : saves the document as a link.
Import Document as DOC and save it : imports the document in a DOC format and saves it.
To select an audio file, do any of the following:
Click to record a new audio.
Click Browse Document to import a .wav file from your computer.
Select an audio file from the Audio Panel tab.
Enter the required string in the Search box in the top bar, press Enter, and select the required audio file from the displayed results.
Important:
Import type options are unavailable if you insert a document from the database by searching from the top bar.
The audio marker is created.
Optional: To play the audio associated with the marker, click
Play Audio
on the context toolbar.
