Create a Marker Using the Picture Command

Picture lets you annotate your documents by adding picture markers.

The following file formats are supported: .tiff, .tif, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .png, and .svg.

  1. Click Picture .
    The 3DSearch panel lists all the documents containing the .tiff, .tif, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .png, and .svg files, available on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  2. Search your image document and select it for the marker creation.

    You can also select the document from the Bookmark app.

  3. In the 3D area, specify the position of the marker using any of the following methods:
    • Select an object. The marker is linked to the object.

      You can select multiple objects before clicking the command to link the marker to all the preselected objects. The marker is created with multiple leaders.

    • Click in the 3D area.
    • Click and drag to specify the leader start point and the marker's upper-left corner.
