Managing Visualization of the Section

You can use various commands on the context toolbar to modify the visualization of the section.

Command Description
Displays a single plane only.
Displays two planes to slice through the object. Moving the first plane changes the position of the whole slice. Moving the second plane changes the distance between the planes.
Displays a box. Moving the first plane changes the position of the whole box. Moving the five other planes changes the size of the box.
Displays the section plane and the contour.
Displays a grid plane and the contour. This provides a quick view of the dimensions around the section contour.
  • : increases the number of grid lines.
  • : decreases the number of grid lines.
  • : lets you edit the number of lines.
  • : changes the grid style between lines and cross.
Displays only the contour. (The context of the section is visible.)
Displays the section cut from the front.
Hides the section cut.
Displays the section cut from the back.
Makes the section cut always visible with respect to the viewpoint.
Displays only the contour. (The context of the section is hidden.)
