- Right-click the measure in the tree or the 3D area and select MeasureObject.x > Export Measure As (The object word is replaced by the type of selected geometry such as plane, arc, and edge.)
- A new window appears showing the 3D representation.
- If you create a measure between objects,
the result is two points representing the minimum or maximum distances
and the line linking these two points. Note that there is no relation
of associativity between these two points and the line.
- If you measure a single object, the
result is a single point. This point is the characteristic representation
of the measure item. For a surface and volume, it corresponds to the
center of gravity; for a point, it is the same point; for a line or
a curve it is the middle point.
- Save the newly created 3D representation
in the database.
