Review Preferred Interfaces
You can select the preferred working interface while working on a
review.
You can select one of the following three options to work on a review
in the preferred interface:
- Work in context
- Work in review tab
- Work in navigation tab
These options are available under Review Preferred Interfaces in
tab.
Note:
If a review is created from a navigation experience tab then it
opens in a navigation tab, irrespective of the selected working interface
option.
Transition from the Navigation Tab in
Product Finder
- If the
Work in navigation tab option is selected:
- If a review is already present in the current navigation tab, a
new navigation tab is created with a review and a markup but without any
context.
- If the current navigation tab does not contain any review:
- If the navigation tab is empty, the
Review dialog box (with no context
selected) appears for the creation of a new review.
- If one root (a part, a product, or a filter) is present in
the current navigation tab, a new review is created with the corresponding root
as the context for the review.
- If several roots (only parts,
products or filters) are present in the navigation tab, a new review is created
with all the roots as contexts for this review.
- If one part, product, or filter
type root and several roots of other types are present in the navigation tab,
the
Review dialog box (with no context selected) appears for
the creation of a new review.
- If one root other than the part,
product, or filter types is present in the navigation tab, then a new review is
created. The working interface will then depend on the type of the root.
- If the
Work in review tab option is selected:
- If one root (a part, a product, or a filter) is present in the
navigation tab, the behavior is same as it is when the
Work in navigation tab option is selected.
- If the
Work in context option is selected:
- If one root (a part, a product, or a filter) is present in the
navigation tab, the behavior is same as it is when the
Work in navigation tab option is selected.
- If one root other than the part,
product, or filter types is present in the navigation tab, then a new review is
created. The working interface will then depend on the type of the root.

it is opened in the selected interface.
- If several roots (only parts, products or filters) are selected in
the

and the

review is created in a new review tab and only the first root is added as the
context for the review. The other roots are not considered and hence they are
not opened in the new tab.
