About Publishing Review Report

The review report provides you with the information about the status of Checks, Highlights, and Markups.

Content of the Report

The report consists of the details of the Checks, Highlights and Markups of the selected review.

The report is an .xml file and consists of a summary and details of the Review. The report displays the following information:

  • The PLM information.
  • The description of the context and review.
  • The Community information.
  • The table of Markups with number of Slides and Replies associated with each Markup.
  • The list of Highlights with PLM information and the image.
  • The list of Checks with PLM information.

Location of the Report

The report is generated on the local drive and can be customized to specify the user defined path.

The report and its directory consisting of the support files are generated on the local drive at the specified location. By default, the directory is generated in the CATTemp with the name GraphSVG.

The directory contains following support files:

  • An index.xml file that gathers all textual information about review.
  • A *.dtd and *.xsl that stores presentation information.
  • Several *.svg files to present figures.
  • Several *.png files to present images.

Format of the Report

The report presents the summary and detail status of Markups, Checks and Highlights in the form of texts, graphs and images.

The following sections are available in the report:

  • Summary: Graphically represents the various status of the entity types in the selected review.
  • Detail: Contains the information about review such as Name, Version, Organization, Project, User, Type and Description.
  • Context: Contains name of the context and validated entities.
  • Community: Contains the information about the users in the community such as name, email, phone number, address.
    Note: The users' information can be published by selecting the Publish personal data dialog box under Me > Preferences > App Preferences > Social and Collaborative > Global Design Management > Global Design Management > Design Review > Report Generation > Report.
    Important: This app creates reports or generates content that contains personal data. Manage these in accordance with good personal data treatment practices.
  • Checks: Contains list of checks and their details such as Name, State, Description and Priority.
  • Markups: Contains list of markups and their details such as Name, Owners, Description and number of Slides and Replies associated with it.
  • Highlights: Contains list of highlights and their details such as Name, Description, Priority and image illustration.
  • Footer: Contains the date and time of the report generation.
