Review Model

A new conceptual model, Review, has been defined to provide efficient, unbreakable and collaborative tools for the Digital Mockup Digital Review (DMDR) process. This process covers the following steps of the design process:

  • Simulate and check results
  • Identify inconsistencies
    • define contexts
    • define validated objects
    • create markups
  • Prepare Presentations
    • create slides
    • modify (enrich) slides
    • create replies to the slides
    • create highlights
  • Markup: play slides in highlights
  • Create CA (Change Action)

Review Hierarchy

The following is an example of a Validation object hierarchy:

  • Review
    • Context
      • Product.x
      • Product.y
    • Validated
      • Product.x
      • Product.y
    • Markup.x
      • Slides
        • Slide.x
        • Slide.y
      • Notes
      • Reply
        • Slides
          • Slide.x
        • Notes
    • Highlights
      • Highlight.x
        • Slide.x

Considerations

  • A Reply is always a reply to a Slide of a Markup.
  • A Highlight is always an issue in the context of a Slide of a Markup or a Slide of a Reply.
  • Highlights are automatically loaded when you open a Validation.
  • Markups must be explicitly selected to be loaded when you open a Review.
