Publishing the Section Report

You can generate an xml report of the sections created during the review.


Before you begin: Open a review consisting of the sections created during the review.
  1. Select the section to be published.
    The selected section gets highlighted in the tree.
  2. On the Top Bar, click Share > Export > Publish.
    The report is generated and displayed in the default browser.

    The report provides the following information of the section:

    • Name of the section
    • Section Plane Parameters
      • Plane Center
      • Plane Height
      • Plane Width
    • Specifications
      • Plane Type
        • Simple
        • Slice
        • Box
      • Normal Axis: X, Y, Z, or User defined
      • Slice Offset (Only in case of slice and box plane types)
      • Update Mode: Automatic, Manual, or Freeze
    • Image of the section

    Notes:
    • The report is generated on the local drive and stored in the directory, which is by default generated in the CATTemp folder.
    • The directory contains following support files:
      • One index.xml file that gathers all textual information about the section.
      • One *.dtd and one *.xsl that store presentation information.
      • Several *.png files to display images.
    • One report is generated for each section selected.
    • The directory is updated for each generation.
    Warning: A mask ( ) appears on:
    • The slide's thumbnail and the slide feature in the tree, when an overloaded object in the slide is unavailable in the session.
    • The section and compare features in the tree, when any of the pointed objects is unavailable in the session.

    An object is not available if:

    • The concerned object is unloaded.
    • The concerned object is deleted from the product context.
    • The pointed object is replaced.

    The mask disappears if the object is reloaded or if the links are fixed.
