Inserting a New Product

Insert New Product inserts a new product in an existing assembly, while Insert New Extended Product inserts a product with an extended type (Building and Civil Architecture, Piping and Tubing Physical...). The new product is added as a child of the selected product.

  1. Select a product.
  2. From the Product Modification section of the action bar, click:
    • Insert New Product to insert a physical product.
    • Insert New Extended Product to insert a physical product with an extended type (Building and Civil Architecture, Piping and Tubing Physical...).

  3. In the New Content dialog box, select the convenient product.

  4. From the context toolbar, select one of these commands:
    CommandDescription
    Move to origin Restores the origin position of the product instance.
    Important: The Move to origin command is not available for multiselection.
    Move to Robot Last Position Moves the instance to the last position of the Robot.
    Move to Same Place Moves the instance to the same position as the source object.
