Creating a Publication

You can create a publication on a representation.

Tip: To customize the display of publications in the tree, do one of the following:
  • Open Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling Systems Architecture > Publications. .
  • Use the Tree Reordering command.

About Publications

Publish the Content of a Representation

Create a Publication creates a publication at the 3D part level.

  1. Select an object (for example, select a PartBody in a 3D Shape representation).

    Important: You cannot create a publication on the representation of a 3D part. You can create a publication at the 3D part level.

  2. From the Publication tab, in the Functional Name box, enter a name for the publication.
  3. Click Finish to close the dialog box.
