Filtering the View to Show/Hide Inactive Engineering Status and Evolved Configuration

You can select a filter view mode to display or hide inactive instances and instances with an evolved configuration.

In this filtered view, you can show or hide:

  • Instances with an inactive engineering status,
  • Evolved instances (i.e. the instances that have been split to change their configuration).
Important: Evolved instances cannot be selected. To apply the commands below, you must select their parent node.

The filter can be applied in the current view or in a new window, by re-opening the product structure.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: Open a structure with:

  • Configured instances. Then, evolve these instances.

See Evolving a Configured Instance for more about splitting instances with configuration.
