Customizing Baseline Mapping

The following task describes the option enabling you to generate with one single click an ENOVIAvpm mapping as well as the BL enabling data transfer to a 3DEXPERIENCE platform 3DSpace baseline environment.

  1. Click the Baseline Mapping button in the VPMV4ToV6Mapping dialog box:

The Customization generation for 3DEXPERIENCE platform 3DSpace baseline environment dialog box appears:

  2. In this dialog box, select the ENOVIAvpm environment on which the customization is to be generated.
  3. Go to the VPMV4ToV6Mapping dialog box and click Run in the lower right-hand corner.

If the execution is successful, the generic report appears:

If the execution fails or if one of the mandatory attributes is missing, the default help report is displayed in the default browser.

As you can see, the report is made up of three different sections that you must click to open:

    • General execution information containing information about the build level (useful if a problem occurs) and connection parameters on the ENOVIAvpm server:

    • General execution report containing the different actions you have performed to generate the mapping i.e. general information, warnings or errors:

In this section you can access the list of files generated on the client and the contents of these files by clicking the appropriate line identified by the information symbol:

    • mapping information listing the different mapping operations that have been performed:

Clicking ENOVIAvpm object to map description displays a list like this:

      showing

      • the ENOVIAvpm customized typenames
      • their attributes
      • the mapping between these attributes and the ENOVIAvpm attributes.
Clicking the different buttons expands the mapping and shows its contents.

    Important:

Only the generic options for Coexistence are supported. For example, if you wish to transfer P&O or maturity data, you must first modify the generated BLs.
