Exporting Content

Many pages include an Export tool in the page toolbar that lets you export the table content to a file. For a table page, the export always includes all rows currently in the table, even those on subsequent pages for paginated tables, however, it does not include rows that have been filtered out of the table using one of the table filter mechanisms. For a structured content page, the app only exports the rows in the current view.

The export includes the page header, including the page title and the name of any selected view or filter.

A structured content page has two panes where you can horizontally scroll either one independently of each other. A table page has a single pane.

Important: This app creates reports or generates content that contains personal data. Manage these in accordance with good personal data treatment practices.

If you chose CSV or Text as your preferred export format, a dialog box appears asking if you want to open or save the report.

If you chose HTML as your export format, the table content opens in a new browser window as an Excel file.

If any of the fields on the page include an mxLink (hyperlink to an object), that field is converted to straight text and cannot be clicked.

When exporting a structure compare report, you can only export to HTML format. These reports require color-coding and the other formats do not support colors.

If you export a table from the Advanced view of the Issues Summary page, only the current state of each object is exported.
