Linear Explode Dialog Box

You create a Linear Explode when is a View is active. During the selection phase, Manufacturing Items and Resources can be clicked the 3D window or from the Items & Resources panel. Geometry moves in the same blocks as when manually moved with the Compass/Robot. If creating a View or updating, the exploded positions of Manufacturing Items and Resources store in that View.

Use Clash
Select this to activate the clash.

By default, is not selected.

Compute fixed object automatically

Start dragging the handle along a particular direction, the object, which is farthest from the handle in the direction opposite to the explode direction is specify as the fixed object. Other objects can start moving away from the fixed object along the explode direction and proportionately according to their distance from the handle.

Without leaving the mouse, when you move the handle in the reverse direction, objects start coming closer till their initial position is restored.

On continuing further in the reverse direction, the object, which is now farthest from the handle in the direction opposite to the explode direction is specify as the fixed object. Other objects are moved away from the fixed object. Fixed object is not moved.

Unselected, all the selected objects move as there is no fixed product.

By default, is selected.

Fixed Object
Click in the editor to activate a fixed object.

By default, nothing is selected.

Explode by Distance

Along Axis
Use the arrow to select they required axis.

By default, X is selected.

Distance (mm)
Select to change the required distance for the object.

By default, 10.00 is selected.

Explode
Click to explode.

Distance between the objects is calculated from one object’s far edge (bounding box edge point) to another object’s near edge (bounding box edge point). This is along the axis of the explode.

Distance between the exploded objects is respected only after clicking. After, an explode with a specified distance, you can continue to specify the position of objects through the handle; then distance may not respect the distance value.
