Each of the four types of work instructions can have attachments associated with
them.
Expand
When you have attached either a document or a screen capture to a
work instruction, Expand appears. The number is a count of the
documents available. By clicking Expand, you can see the attachment screen.
You can see the maturing level of each attachment by looking at the
BI Essentials. Colored boxes; blue (below) indicates that the
attachment is the latest version. For more information, see Using B.I. Essentials in Work Instructions.
From the attachment screen, you can right-click any document or
screen capture, and select Detach Document.
You can also right-click any screen capture, and select
Update Screen Capture. The screen capture
updates based on the criteria that saved when creating the capture.
To update all screen captures within an operations sequence, click
Update All.
3DEXPERIENCE has an internal default browser
for the following types of files: bmp, jpg, jpeg, png, tiff, gif,
pdf, htm, html, and xml. The browser appears in the upper right
corner of the app. It can be both moved and
resized.
To see other attachments, click the attachment to
start its external browser.
Contract
When you have the attachment screen open on the
Instruction dialog box, you can close it by
clicking
Contract
.
Thumbnails View
Selecting this option enables you to see the attachments as
thumbnails.
Tiles View
Selecting this option enables you to see the attachments as tiles.
Details View
Selecting this option enables you to see the attachments as a text
list (see
above). The data provided is the same as that
available when you mouse over the item in the search window.
