Hole Alignment

You can find misalignments between holes in two or more components.

  1. Import your components in the 3D area.
  2. From the Assembly tab of the action bar, click Interference Check .
  3. Click Hole Alignment .
  4. In the Hole Alignment dialog box, specify the following:

    Field Name Does This
    Holes to Align Displays components with holes that you select from the work area.
    Hole Center Deviation Specifices a minimum and maximum deviation for hole misalignments. Press Calculate to display hole misalignments within the range.
    Non deviating items display Specifies how aligned holes are displayed.Translucent, Hidden, and Current mode.Select an option:
    • Translucent The aligned holes are displayed in translucent.
    • Hidden The aligned holes are hidden from the work area.
    • Current The aligned holes are shown in the work area.

  5. Click Calculate.
    The Results tab displays the number of deviations detected and the deviation values.

    The results display only nonaligned holes. To view details of the hole alignment deviations, .
