Inserting an Existing Geometry

You can insert an existing geometry as a new feature of the current product.

Context:

The existing geometry can originate from a Physical Product in 3DSpace into an active Physical Product in the 3DShape. The inserted geometry is displayed as a new feature in the design tree and can be modified, referenced, and replaced with other geometry or a different version of the same geometry.

  1. From the Features section of the action bar, click Insert Geometry .
  2. In the Insert Geometry dialog box, click Choose component.
    The 3DSearch widget opens.
