Ontology Concurrent Design

Users can work concurrently on an ontology.

Working concurrently

Users can work separately on a same ontology and guaranty that the ontology they are editing reflects consistently the last changes pushed.

If you want to edit an ontology, one of these icons appears:
  • :
    • another user is editing the ontology, all the fields are grayed out and any creation/deletion is deactivated. Wait until the push from the concurrent user is made.
    • the ontology is in read-only mode
  • : you can edit the ontology
Out-of-date ontology
An ontology appears as out-of-date on your side if another user made a push before your entered the ontology. If you want to edit an ontology, confirm the update/deletion.
  • A dialog box prompting you to pull any update or deletion may appear if you have not updated your ontology yet. Click Yes in the dialog box.
  • If you want to do this action later, the icon appears as a status reminder.
