Publishing Ontologies to Datasets Governance

You can publish a set of ontologies in Datasets Governance. During this procedure:

  • ontologies are mapped to datasets
  • ontology formats (Compressed N-Triples (.nt.gz)) are mapped to dataset distributions
Note: You can only publish pulled ontologies in Datasets Governance.

Before you begin: Make sure the catalogs in which you want to publish your ontologies are available and that you have access to them.
  1. Select one or more ontologies and click
    The Publish Ontologies to Datasets Governance dialog box appears.
  2. Click Publish.
  3. In the Datasets Governance | Select a catalog dialog box, select a catalog and click Create Dataset.
  4. In the Datasets Governance | New Dataset dialog box, edit the title and other properties if needed.
  5. Click Publish.
    A publication notification appears in the 3DNotification center. When the ontology is published, a success notification should appear in the 3DNotification center and at the bottom right of the Ontology Editor App.
