Using Search

Use the App Search tool to see specific ontologies, classes, properties, individuals or SKOS Thesaurus (concepts, concept schemes, collections).

A list of all the results that match the query appears.

You can also use the top bar Search tool , enter your search string (label or comment of an ontology, class, property or SKOS Thesaurus (concepts, concept schemes, collections)).

Note: Only pushed ontologies are indexed.
If you filter your results using the 6WTags, the following filters are available:
  • Parent type (resource's super type) which applies to:
    • Class (SubClassOf)
    • Property (SubPropertyOf)
    • Concept (Broader / Narrower)
  • Equivalent to (resource's equivalences) which applies to:
    • Class (EquivalentClass)
    • Property (EquivalentProperty)
    • Concept (Exact Match)
  • Different from (resource's disjoint classes) which applies to all resources (DisjointWith)
  • Similar to (resource's similarities) which applies to Concepts (Close Match).
If you use the Advanced Search in the top bar, use the following values:
  • Source: select Others
  • Type: select one the following
    • Class
    • Collection
    • Concept
    • Concept Scheme
    • Ontology
    • Property
  • Title: enter the Label (Ontology, Class, Property), Preferred label (Concept, Concept Scheme, Collection)
  • In the More Criteria section:
    • Description: enter the Comment (Ontology, Class, Property), the Description(Concept, Concept Scheme, Collection)

In the Advanced Search results you can Preview or Open a result item by clicking
