Compare Status

The Compare Status B.I. reveals information about the status of two compared objects.

Color Code

When the Compare Status B.I. is selected, the following colors are applied to the objects in the tree and in the 3D area:

Color Signification Description


Added No counterpart has been found. This content has been added compared to the other structure.


Moved The references of both instances are identical. The positioning matrixes associated to the instances are different.


Changed Revision The reference has been replaced by another reference (revision or minor revision) compared to the other structure.


Replaced The reference has been replaced by another reference compared to the other structure.


Similar The reference has been duplicated or is an evolution: the contents are the source and its clone or two clones from the same source created from the Duplicate or New Evolution commands.


Identical The contents are identical. All positions and references are the same.


Removed The content was removed compared to the other structure.


Mismatched The roots of the compared objects are different. If children are related and can be compared, they are assigned a compare status. Otherwise, they are shown as Added or Removed.
Note: This status is only assigned to the root of single-root structures.
