Assembly Design: Check

The Assembly Design: Check B.I. reveals information about the PLM Update status of each components of the assembly.

This page discusses:

Color Code

When the Assembly Design: Check B.I. is selected, the following colors are applied to the objects in the tree and in the 3D area:

Color Signification Description

Update error or broken link Indicates a global status error except for errors related to engineering connections.

Out of date Indicates all instances modified since the last update or all movable instances for which an error is detected in an engineering connection.

Up to date Indicates all instances that are up-to-date.

Label

When the Assembly Design: Check B.I. is selected and you select an object in the tree or in the 3D area, a label is displayed that contains detailed information:

On selected geometries:

Attribute Description
First row The name of the selected product.

For a repositionable instance, the name corresponds to the instance path built from the active product.

Second row The name of the selected representation.
Third row The check status.
Fourth rowThe number of engineering connections that are out of date along with the detailed number for each status (OK, Out of date, Broken).

When there is no affected engineering connections, No impacting engineering connection is displayed.

On selected engineering connections:

Attribute Description
First row The name of the selected engineering connection.
Following row The instance or representation name affected by the engineering connection.

For a repositionable instance, the name corresponds to the instance path built from the active product.

Last rowsThe engineering connection status:
  • If the engineering connection is deactivated, Deactivated is displayed.
  • If the engineering connection is active but the constraints deactivated, All constraints deactivated is displayed.
  • If the engineering connection is measured, the instance or representation name affected by the engineering connection is not displayed; only the status of the engineering connection is displayed.
