  1. To access the B.I. Essentials list, from the Tools section of the action bar, select B.I. Essentials .
  2. Select a B.I. from the list.
Colors are applied to all objects in the tree and in the work area accordingly.
  3. In the tree or in the work area, select a 3D object to display its detailed information.
Important: Detailed information is only available for 3D objects.
  4. To select a B.I. value, hover over the value and click the plus sign (+) that appears.
All objects having that value will be selected.

Tip: In the B.I. Essentials, select Check Customization.

A report is generated that enables you to understand syntax errors in your customization files. Error messages are displayed for the following cases:

  • If the line allowing to define the number of customized items is not defined or incorrectly defined.
  • If there is a Syntax error on a knowledge Rule defined for an object, the name of the rule, the object type failing on a line and the reason for the failure.
  • If there is no label defined.
  • If an invalid type have been defined.
  • If no error is found, a message will be displayed indicating as such.
  • To provide information relative to a customization, the customization name is put between brackets, for example Customization [Ownership] for the customization called Ownership.

Note the following considerations:

  • The compatibility of the colors defined in the Resource file and in the Knowledge Rules are not checked by the tool.
  • If a rule is referenced in the Resource file and this rule doesn’t exist , there won’t be a dedicated error message.
  • There is no NLS management, every message will be written in English.
