Installing multiple 3DDashboard instances in load balancer environment

When installing multiple 3DDashboard instances in load balancer environment, 3DDashboard instances can be installed in several hosts by this method. In all these multiple 3DDashboard installations: the installation directory path, database details, Shared Directory and all other installation inputs must be the same

Note:

TomEE port can be different for multiple instances.

You need to perform this task each time you need to install a Hot Fix to keep your second instance.

Before you begin:
  • The ‘Shared Directory’ used in 3DDashboard installation must be shared between 3DDashboard_host1 and 3DDashboard_host2 and accessible in read/write/execute mode by both 3DDashboard instances. Use a mounted path for the shared directory.
  1. Install 3DDashboard R2022x GA level in 3DDashboard_host1.
  2. Install 3DDashboard R2022x GA level in 3DDashboard_host2.
  3. Install 3DDashboard R2022x Hot Fix in server 3DDashboard_host1.
  4. Install 3DDashboard R2022x Hot Fix in server 3DDashboard_host2.

    3DDashboard first instance will be available in 3DDashboard_host1 and the second instance will be available in 3DDashboard_host2.
