Uninstalling 3DDashboard

This section describes how to uninstall the 3DDashboard code.

3DDashboard can be uninstalled using the DS Installer tools. For more specific information about the DS Installer, see Installation and Setup - Install - 3DEXPERIENCE Platform - Installing 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Services for the First Time - Installing Services One-by-One - DS Installer - Uninstalling the Software.

The uninstallation is performed by the user who performed the installation

  1. Stop TomEE if you are using external TomEE.
  2. Remove the installation.

    On Windows, select Start > Control Panel> Programs and Features Uninstall or change a program control and double-click: Dassault Systèmes 3DDashboard 3DEXPERIENCE R2022x

    The installation can also be uninstalled by executing the following commands with administrator privileges: <3DDashboardInstallPath>\Uninstall.bat which stops 3DDashboard service, then deletes the installation directory.

    On Linux, run the command <3DDashboardInstallPath>/Uninstall.sh in order to stop 3DDashboard process and delete the installation directory.

    If an error occurs, delete the installation directory as follows: rm -rf <3DDashboardInstallPath>.

  3. If you are using external TomEE, remove the TomEE webapp directory and the WAR archive file.
  4. Optional: If you do not intend to keep your data for migration or upgrade purposes, delete the contents of the shared folder and stop and drop the databases.
