Displaying Composer Content

You can open in 3DPlay Web App SMG files created with CATIA Composer or with SOLIDWORKS Composer.

Note: CATIA Composer and SOLIDWORKS Composer are desktop applications that let you reuse 3D content to create assembly and disassembly procedures, technical illustrations, interactive 3D animations, training or marketing materials, sales tools, and more.

  1. Open a Composer SMG file.

    The Composer experience is loaded.



    Number Interface Element Description
    1 Experience Panels Displays the Assembly, Design, and Scenariopanels.
    2 3D area Displays 2D and 3D content.
    3 Properties panel Displays object properties.
    4 Animation Player Lets you control animations (backward, play, stop, forward, loop, bounce, reverse, camera).
    5 Paper area manager Lets you manage how elements are displayed in the paper area.
  2. In the Scenario panel, play animations and display views.
  3. In the Design panel, access dressup elements.
  4. In the Assembly panel, view the assembly structure.
  5. In the Properties panel, view the properties associated with a given object.
