Displaying Review Content

In 3DPlay Web App, you can open and display reviews created in Design Review and Design Synthesis using 2 different modes, explained in this topic.

This task shows you how to:

Display the Review Content

You can browse through different review features from the panels available on the left-hand side of the work area.

  1. Open a review containing markups, slides, highlights, checks, and validated objects.
    The review data is loaded. The following review contents are displayed in the respective panels.
    • Markups under the review, all the replies under them, and their child replies are visible in the Markups and Slides panel.
    • Review context, validated objects, checks, and highlights are visible in the Validation panel.
    Notes:
    • In the Markups and Slides panel, a blue bar appears on the slide’s thumbnail, to indicate the currently displayed slide.
    • If a highlight is created on a slide, a blue star appears on its thumbnail.
  2. Expand Markup and Reply in the Markups and Slides panel to load and see the thumbnails of the slides under them.
  3. Optional: Click the thumbnails of slides one after another to display them.

    After you have browsed through all the slides under a particular markup or a reply, a green bar appears on slides' thumbnails under that section.

  4. Optional: Click and select Delete Display history to delete the slides browsing history.
    The green bar is removed from slide thumbnails.
  5. Optional: Change the viewpoint to see the product from different directions.

    Note: Changing the viewpoint in this mode does not modify the viewpoint of the slide.

  6. Expand Context and Validated objects in the Validation panel to display the context and validated objects in the work area.
  7. Expand Checks to display all the checks associated with the review. Click any of the listed checks to expand it and see the associated requirement and highlights impacting the check.
    • Before expanding the check, the list of checks displays the following information for every check:
      • The review status for the check indicating if the review is OK, KO, or Under review.
      • The number of associated requirements and highlights impacting the check.
    • On expanding the check, the following information related to the check is displayed:
      • The description of the check
      • The title of the associated requirement. You can click the title to open the requirement in the Properties dialog box.
      • The titles of the highlights impacting the check. The color of the highlight's icon indicates the severity.

  8. Expand Highlights to display the list of highlights associated with the review. Click any of the listed highlights to expand it and see the associated review content.
    • Before expanding the highlight, the list of highlights displays the following information for every highlight:
      • The titles of the highlights. The color of the highlight's icon indicates the severity. For more information, see Highlight Severities.
      • The number change actions and issues associated with the highlight are displayed next to its title. The color of the change action's icon indicates the severity.

    • On expanding the highlight, the following information related to the highlight is displayed:
      • Highlight's description
      • Associated slide
      • Impacted check, if any
      • Associated issues
      • Associated change actions
    Notes:
    • You can hide or show the thumbnail of the associated slide for all highlights by clicking and then Hide Thumbnail or Show Thumbnail .
    • You can click the slide thumbnail to view the thumbnail in the work area.
    • You can click to drag a highlight in other dashboard apps.

Display the Review Content in the Presentation Mode

You can browse through slides one after another in the presentation mode.

  1. Open a review with only one product context and at least one slide.
    The review data is loaded. Markups under the review, all the replies under them, and their child replies are visible in the slides panel.
  2. From the standard area of the action bar, click Presentation Mode .
    • The review data is displayed in the full-screen mode.
    • For every slide, slide specific information is displayed in the upper-left corner. To keep this information box visible, click it.
  3. Use one of the following options to display the next slide:
    • The > button on the right-hand side of the work area
    • Right or up arrow key
    • Page Up key
    • Contextual command
  4. Use one of the following options to display the next slide:
    • The > button on the right-hand side of the work area
    • Right or up arrow key
    • Page Up key
    • Contextual command
  5. Use one of the following options to display the previous slide:
    • The < button on the left-hand side of the work area
    • Left or down arrow key
    • Page Down key
    • Contextual command

    For a review containing multiple markups and replies, slides under all markups, replies under markups, and their child replies are displayed in a sequence.

  6. Use one of the following options to exit the presentation mode:
    • The button in the upper-right corner of the work area
    • Esc key
    • Contextual command
