Customizing Preferences

Preferences enable you to customize your user experience.

  1. Select Preferences .
  2. Set your preferences according to your needs.

    Display loading boxes Check this option to activate the display of the loading boxes when loading data.
    Preferred quality for geometry In the list, select the quality you want for displaying geometry:
    • Low quality: This mode is the fastest for loading geometry. It is only compatible with the Shading visualization mode. It is the default mode.
      Note: this mode only works for content loaded from 3DSpace.
    • High quality: This mode is slower than the Low quality mode for loading geometry. It is compatible with all the visualization modes, except the Illustration mode.
    • High quality for illustration: This mode is the slowest for loading geometry. It is compatible with all the visualization modes, including the Illustration mode.
      Note: This mode is available only with the VIS role.
    • Automatic: This mode starts with Low quality to maximize loading time, but it automatically reloads geometry using High quality if you launch a visualization mode that requires it.
  3. Click Save.
