Displaying Requirement Content

In 3DPlay Web App, you can open and display the contents inside a requirement specification or a requirement.


Before you begin: Open a requirement specification or a requirement.
Note: If you open a requirement specification, the Bookmarks panel is displayed on the left of the 3D area.
  1. Scroll down to browse through the pages one after another.

    Alternatively you can use the following commands from the action bar:

    • Previous Page : to display the previous requirement.
    • Next Page : to display the next requirement.
  2. Optional: Click the hyperlink on the page to open it.
    • If the hyperlink points to an external URL, it opens in a new tab.
    • If the hyperlink points to a position in the context, the pointed position is displayed.
  3. Optional: Click Bookmarks Panel .
    A panel displaying all the bookmarks in the PDF and the comments and elements in the requirement specification appears on the left side of the widget. The bookmarks on the page are highlighted.
    Note: When the widget width is smaller than 550 pixels, the panel is automatically hidden when you activate a bookmark in the Bookmarks Panel
  4. Optional: Click Presentation Mode to browse through various requirement elements (Requirements, chapters and comments of requirements).
    1. Use one of the following options to display the previous element: < button on the right-hand side of the work area, left or down arrow key, Page Down key, or the contextual command.
    2. Use one of the following options to display the next element: The > button on the right-hand side of the work area, right or up arrow key, Page Up key, or the contextual command.
  5. Optional: Use one of the following options to exit the presentation mode:
    • The button in the upper-right corner of the work area
    • Esc key
    • Contextual command
  6. Select a requirement element in the Requirements Specification Editor or Requirements Specification Editor tree, the requirement context in 3DPlay Web App is scrolled to the selected element.
